A verb tense is a particular form / set of forms of a verb that shows at what time, past, present or future, the action of the verb takes place.
English has only two basic tenses:
- Present tense
- Past tense
It sounds simple.... doesn't it? So, all you have to remember is that tenses lets you determine the time of which the action took place...
